so about a week or so ago for some reason my google home devices won't tell me the time. i have 2 minis and a nest I think. I do have crap cheap internet and there can be times I can't use voice at all .have WiFi devices galore but when I can use them they refuse to tell me the time or weather only. I have tried hey or ok but same . so what happens on the nest device the lights go round and round but then go out after maybe a minute. the minis the lights go across backwards and forwards then also stop after a minute. I tried rebooting everything but problem persists. I read maybe a reset is in order but would that mean I would have to re pair everything?

Be nice if someone official would at least acknowledge this issue in one of these threads. All my speakers are basically bricks at this point.

Same issue with Nest audio and Google Home minis. Local commands work fine, such as turn on lights. Anything that requires external networking fails to respond, such as what is the weather like today. The dots light up to show it's listening but nobody's home.

All of my GH/Nest audio are now responding correctly too. Have Google acknowledged the outage and does anyone know what was done to fix the issue out of interest?

Thank you! Glad everything is working again. I didn't realize how dependant I am on these devices.

Spoke too soon.
Mine are again, non-responsive.

Interesting as it's still broken here - Nest Hub Max and Lenovo Smart Clock. Have rebooted both (again!) and still no joy. Guess I'll need to contact support.

This inability for home mini to tell the basic weather still persists 1/17/25

oh its been working for me for a few days but I suspect the sometimes it doesn't work now is because my crap internet. I know it drop out because the continuous recording on the security cameras show it does. it also will refuse commands for the lights, TV and aircon. but I must document the times and prove that
