I keep seeing the same questions re: the google next products that are to dark at night. We replaced a couple led clocks to get more functionality. but they are so dark we are take them out and putting the old clocks back. I see lots of people asking the same question and lots of contradicting answers, (turn off night mode, turn on night mode) , try this, try that. Is there no real solution? I've tried them all and none seem to work. So if there is no real working solutions and Google seems uninterested in resolving, we are going to try the Echo series. that means all 7 products including the 4 mini's around the home.
The max is nice but it to is to dark, the Google Nest(s) 2nd gen are terrible, and started this whole issue.

Under Settings | Display for our Nest Hubs and Nest Hub Max, we have "Minimum brightness" set to "Dim" (which I think is the default setting), and are able to see the time display when the room is dark and the Nest Hub is in "low-light mode", without the clock being too bright.
