Google assistant will not play autoplay with tubi tv and always repeats the same first episode when told to play (and I have run through days of troubleshooting with tubi tv and all have agreed it has to be on google's end as it works when started on the tv manually with my remote).
I am trying to change from Netflix to tubi tv since Netflix has gone up in price again. Google easily casts, starts and plays my program when I ask it to but when the first episode ends, it does NOT go on to the second episode and just puts up the Tubi Tv symbol on the tv screen. If I tell google to play the show again, it just restarts at episode one again everytime. To me this looks like it is not utilizing auto-play but I can not find any information on how to get google to do auto-play with Tubi Tv. I have everything connected together and use both the computer and ios. As I mentioned earlier, the auto-play DOES work if I use the tv remote instead of google but that kind of defeats the entire point of having google to operate the tv functions.
I would sure love advice on how to fix this. Thanks
