read it and weep ( again!!! because this is the umpth time you guys at google ff-ed this up..)
the broadcast message is back to using computer voice, not the actual human voice. this was fixed last year, then it broke again, then it was fixed again, then you broke it again, then it was fixed again and guess what???? now it is broken again.... again back to that lame computer voice that messed up the actual voice message.
IF, and there's a big IF.. IF you get the message at all. and that when you do get the message, it is not just a bunch of static noise.
please, please please Google. Hire some developers that can really fix this, or start a petition to get some of the original developers back from the AI team.

Hi realjax,
Thanks for reaching out. I understand that when you use the broadcast feature, it uses the assistant voice. I know that can be frustrating when your device doesn't work how you prefer. I'm happy to help you with this. When you use the command 'Hey Google, broadcast <message>', it will repeat the broadcast message with your voice. However, when you use the 'Broadcast a preset message' feature, it will use the voice of the assistant. Please visit Broadcast voice messages to Google Nest or Home devices to check all the commands that you can use.
Let me know if you're using the correct broadcast command.
Regards,
Manuel

Look. Us users have had this issue creeping up on us time and time again. There is no point in making us try and do things to fix it.
The error is on your side.
It is NOT a user error.
