iPhone issues - Apple Music doesn't see nest speakers and Youtube Music doesn't see groups

I just switched to an iPhone and I'm having two separate issues:

The first is that when trying to stream music from Apple Music, it only sees Roku and airplay or Roku devices. I tried unlinking and re-linking Apple music from Google home, and then tried rebooting my iPhone - no change.

The second issue is that from Youtube music, I can see Google speakers, but not speaker groups. I even tried creating a speaker group from the Google Home on my iPhone, but I still can't see speaker groups.

Any ideas?

Hello dtrain72,

Thanks for visiting the Community.

Please note that our Google Home or Nest speakers and displays do not support AirPlay. However, you can stream songs from Apple Music to your Nest Audio device using the Cast button within the Apple Music app on Android devices.

To play YouTube Music on speaker groups, ensure that your speakers are within 15-20 ft. of your router to receive a strong network signal. Also, check if you can play music on your speaker group using voice commands.

Cheers,

Muddi

Thanks Muddi. You wrote: "you can stream songs from Apple Music to your Nest Audio device using the Cast button within the Apple Music app on Android devices" -- but I have a Apple / iOS device now (I switched from Android to iOS). Is it not possible to cast to Google speakers from an iPhone when listening to Apple Music?

Hey there,

Sorry for the confusion. Please note that casting music from the Apple Music app using iOS device is not supported.

We're always looking for ways to improve. I recommend that you send feedback using your device by saying, "Hey Google, send feedback." Visit our help center to know more on how to share feedback about Google Nest.

Cheers,

Muddi

That's a shame, but okay, thanks for your help on this.
