There is no email "Visitor announcement" option; "Visitor announcements" is an option under the Settings for your doorbell, but if you cannot see your doorbell in the Google Home app, how did you turn on the option?

Which Google Nest doorbell do you have, the Google Nest Hello Doorbell, the Google Nest Doorbell (Battery), or the 2nd Gen Google Nest Doorbell?

Can you see your doorbell's camera on the "preview"/beta home.google.com website?

Do you have more than one Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app?  Are you logging onto the Google Home app with more than one Google Account?

i turn it on tn the nest app i have nest hello, yes i can see it, only the the door, i have install many of doorbell, i work for dish

@rastajune

Okay, you have a Google Nest Hello Doorbell and "Visitor announcements" are turned on for the doorbell in the Google Nest app.

Are you logging onto the Google Nest app and the Google Home app with the same Google (gmail) Account, and connecting to the same Google Nest "home/structure" in each app? Can you see your Nest Hello and your Google Home Mini in the Google Home app? If so, you should hear "visitor announcements" on your Google Home Mini.

the nest hello not showing up on google home, & say everything is the same

@rastajune

If you are logging onto the Google Nest app and the Google Home app with the same Google Account, and are connected to the same Google Nest "home/structure", you should be able to see your Nest Hello in the Google Home app, though you need to administer it in the Google Nest app.

Is your Nest Hello assigned to a "room" in the Google Nest app? If it is, you could try adding a temporary Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Nest app, then going to that temporary empty Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Home app and deleting it. This seems to force the 2 apps to sync.

Hi rastajune,

This is not the experience we want you to have, let me help you. A few questions: which Nest speakers are we working with? Is it a Nest Mini or a Google Home Mini? Were there any recent changes made or is this for a first time setup? Have you tried MplsCustomer’s given steps? If so, how was it?

It would help a lot if you could do a sequential reboot first:

  1. Unplug the power cord of your router, followed by your Nest speakers.
  2. Plug them back in after 3 minutes.
  3. Restarting your phone might also help.

Once done, click this link to get doorbell visitor announcements on a speaker or display and follow the steps. Make sure to follow the instructions whether it be on the Nest app or the Google Home app.

Let me know how it goes.

Best,

Dan
