nest mini has disappeared from Home app every morning

Every morning my Nest mini is not showing up in my Favorites tab . When I go to the Devices tab it is there and I can add it to my Home. But I have to do it every morning!

I deleted the Nest mini and added it a few times but this didn't help.

Any idea  of whats causing this?

Thanks for posting here in the community. I'm sorry to hear your Nest mini is not showing up in your Favorites tab. You may have too many devices in your Favorites tab. Help's here!

 

Try the steps here:

 

  • Create a new home structure: This can help organize your devices and make it easier to manage them in the Google Home app. You can add your Nest Mini to this new structure. Follow these steps to Create a home.

It didn't help. Deleted all my devices, deleted my home and started from scratch.

Still every night my Nest mini is removed from my house. I send feedback with the log and I am waiting for respons.

Thanks for the follow-up.

 

Have a look at this guide:

 

  • Factory Reset: This action will clear your data from the device and can't be undone. Follow these steps to Factory Reset your Nest mini, depending on the model you have. 
  • Set up: Connect your Google Nest device to the Google Home app. Refer to this article: Set up your Nest Mini. 
  • WI-FI connectivity: Ensure both your Nest Mini and phone are connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. This is important for setting up the device after the reset process.

I followed your instructions and...

So far so good! Two nights in a row my Nest Mini remained at its place. It already saved my a few minutes for two days 😄
