receiving video calls with duo/meet

We have a nest  hub for my elderly mother. I set it up with her email using my android phone to manage while on her network. I manage all her affairs so I need her google account and my google account on my device. 

When family members try to video call her the call comes to my mobile device. What setting do I need to change to correct this issue?  .

Thank you for reaching out to the community. I apologize you're experiencing trouble when someone calls your elderly mother's Nest Hub Max however those calls appear on your phone. I understand this can be frustrating. I'm here to help.

You can adjust your call settings to address this. Please try the following:

  • Temporarily block calls to a device by enabling Do Not Disturb. You can visit this important article about how to turn on the Do Not Disturb.
  • Create a Do Not Disturb schedule using this great article about how to set up Night mode.
  • Ensure that your mother's account is linked on her Nest Hub Max, not just her contact number.
