streaming radio station as my alarm clock

I don't know what's changed but I used to be able set an alarm for week days to wake up to a radio station playing.  Then I could say "hey google, snooze for 10 minutes" or " hey google, snooze until 7 am" and it would stop and come on again streaming the same radio station.  Now when it comes back on again it is the standard chiming alarm, no radio... and the rest of the week it is the standard chiming sound not the radio! What is happening?

I know how important your alarm is as it helps you with your daily activities. A few questions: when did the issue start? What country are you located in? What specific station are you using for the alarm? Are you able to play the radio station on your speaker? Does it happen to all stations or songs that you set as your alarm?

Hi Muddi, Thanks for the reply!

I think it started about a month ago.  Until then all was running pretty slick.  I am in Alberta, Canada. I have used both 98.5 Virgin Radio and 95.9 Star as my alarm.  Yes I can definitely just stream the radio stations... I haven't really tried others but those two for sure.  They even work as the main alarm it is only once I ask it to snooze that it starts chiming when it comes back on.  Then the next time my alarm goes off it chimes unless I cancel all alarms and reset them.

I will try to reset my device when I get home tonight.  I'll let you know if it works after that!

While it may have worked before on your device and though other languages are supported, setting a media alarm is only available in the US. You can check this link for additional information. We're always looking for ways to improve and looking forward to adding more features to other countries. But my media alarm works it’s just after snoozing it that doesn’t work. And why would this snoozing function have worked for nearly two years and suddenly stop working?
