Let’s get this sorted out. Is this the first time you will set up your Google Nest Hub Max? If not, what happened, and why does it need to be set up again? Have you already tried doing the suggested troubleshooting steps on that thread?

Hi Alex. This is not the first time I set up my Google Nest Hub Max. I have been using it without problem since I bought it from new in December 2020. Suddenly one day it stopped working. It just lost connection to the internet for no apparent reason. My situation seems exactly like what troyharris1206 experienced. I've tried the troubleshooting steps you suggested on the thread but it did not help. I've tried reseting many times. Like troyharris1206 I tried checking other Google accounts to see if it is linked to any of them. It is not as far as I can see.

Hi there,
Thanks for the information. Try to create a new home. Factory reset your Google Nest Hub Max once more, and then set it up in the new home. If prompted to create a new Nest network, choose the option to create a new one. Let me know how it goes.

I tried this today but it gave the same result as before "This Nest Hub Max is connected to another account or home"

I now managed to get this working. I don't know if that is as a result of your actions or mine. I did manage to delete a few more home's on my daughter's account. Maybe that did the trick.
