Anytime+ is on, the remote can power TV on/ off, and all other navigation functions work fine.
Did a factory reset of the Chromecast, removed and replaced the remote batteries, forgotten and re-paired the remote.
Both TV and device are up to date.
Google kindly let me order a replacement but still having the exact issue.
However, the 2x HD Google TV I have worked perfectly without any issues on the same 4K TV.
Does anyone else have similar issue and have a solution to solve the problem?
Im thinking of returning it and purchase the HD version instead 😞

@tajennifer my return to retailers time frame has now lapsed as over 30days and Google still can't solve my issue.
