Starting a few weeks ago the Ambient Mode Art Gallery will no longer load new images, it is permanently stuck on one image. This makes is a screen burner now, not a screen saver...
In the Chromecast menu the options are completely gone, restarting the device either by menu or pulling the plug have not helped.
The numerous other Nest devices on the same Wifi have shown none of the same problems.
Going through the Home app to try and fix the problem doesn't work either, the app can't see the image either, nor trigger the image to change.
The app at least shows the settings, and I can change the settings. But they have no effect.
The closest I found searching the forums is this thread: https://support.google.com/googletv/thread/294691247?hl=en but it was shut down almost immediately as "this is Google Photo's problem". Umm clearly it is not in the case here, as this isn't my photo gallery, but the time and behavior line up too well to be coincidence.
