Apps crashing daily

I have had nothing but problems with my streamer 4k since I bought it. After a few hours of use, even after a reboot, random apps (Apple tv, Hulu, prime, peacock, hbo max, paramount and frndly ) will crash while streaming or they exhibit strange behavior (paramount and frndly) like random black screens for a few seconds. Reboots will resolve it for a few hours, clearing app cache (pita) and I’ve also factory reset the device. I also tried changing several settings in developer mode to limit background apps and many others. I have great WiFi connectivity and have also tried hard wired network connections and the issue persists. 
Any recommendations on how to resolve this or should I just throw in the towel and go back to my old Roku?

The firmware is UTTK.250729.004

No errors appear, I’ll be watching content in an app and the app will just crash and I’m brought back to the Home Screen or in some cases back to the main page of the app.

The issue started about a week after getting the device.
