I have a Vizio TV (V555-G1) and a Vizio M-Series all-in-one sound bar. Recently I have noticed a slight audio delay when using apps on my Chromecast with Google TV. I try using the AV Delay feature on the Vizio sound bar remote but I feel even after I get it right it can go out of sync soon after. I tried watching something on Netflix (from the Vizio TV and not the Chromecast) and it seemed to work better but I would rather use the Chromecast.
Here are some other settings I have tried to fix it (that didn't work):
I feel like I am going crazy and it's all I can see. Any advice to stop the slight delay? Thank you!

I have exactly the same issue only when i enabled "Surround" sound option. I believe this is known & unresolved issue and I'm waiting for google to handle this problem. 😞

Unfortunately, I do. Still having this delay issue.

I'm sorry to hear that! Just out of curiosity, do you have the Chromecast device plugged directly into the TV via HDMI, or the soundbar itself? If it's plugged in like Chromecast ---> TV ---> ARC ---> Sound bar, try plugging it in like Chromecast ---> Sound bar Input | Sound bar output ---> TV. That will see if the issue persists without ARC, Or vice-versa if your setup already has the Chromecast plugged into the Soundbar.
Let me know if you have any questions about that, I look forward to your response!
Best regards,
Jeran

So the Chromecast is plugged into the HDMI-2 spot on the TV. The Soundbar is plugged into HDMI-1 (ARC).
I haven't had a chance to try to plug the Chromecast into the Soundbar yet. For the time being I have skipped using the Chromecast and just used Vizio's built-in Chromecast/apps (which doesn't seem to have any delay issues with the Soundbar).

Hey there eastwoodmcfly,
No problem at all, I would do the same if I were in your position. If you did want to try using the Chromecast with Google TV with the soundbar in the future, I would try that different HDMI arrangement to see if that helps at all. In the meantime, did you have any other questions or concerns we can address?
Best regards,
Jeran

I've got support ticket for this problem ( Case ID [9-############2496], Google Nest Customer Care Team), Can you share any new information?

Hey there brunoyoo,
It looks like the case number got blocked out in your message, so I cannot look it up, unfortunately. If you'd like, here is how to get into contact with Chromecast support again to check and see if there are any updates.
Best regards,
Jeran
