Audio/Video Sync Issue - Google Nest Audio as Bluetooth Speakers for the Google Tv Streamer

Reddington

Iam trying to use my Google Nest Audio as Bluetooth  Speakers for the Google Tv Streamer, but there is a noticeable delay between Audio and Video.

The Delay is most likely caused by the bluetooth connection between them, but i cant seem to find an option inside the Google TV Streamer to correct for such an issue or force any kind of low latency codec.

Is there a way to resolve this?

Hello Reddington,

Thanks for reaching out to the Google Community Forum. I’m sorry to know that you are experiencing a delay between audio and video with your Google Nest Audio and Google TV Streamer 4K. Don’t worry; I’m happy to help you.

To effectively troubleshoot, could you please answer these questions?

  • When did this issue first start happening?

  • Do you experience this with a specific app?

  • Does this occur when playing content directly on the Google TV Streamer 4K or casting from another device?

  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so, please describe them.

If you have any more information that could be helpful, please let me know.

Best regards,

Daniel

Its happens when using the 2 Google Nest Audio Speakers in Stereo Mode and than streaming from the Google TV Streamer 4K to the Stereo Group.

Using a a single speaker works fine, but of course Stereo sound would be preferable.

Hello  Reddington,

Thank you so much for keeping me updated. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the audio delay you're experiencing.

  • In the Google Home app, remove your speakers from the current group, then pair them again. For your reference, you can use this article: Pair two speakers for stereo sound

  • After re-pairing, test for any audio delay between speakers. If the situation persists, I suggest following the instructions in this help article: How to correct group playback delay

Let me know how it goes by performing these steps.

Best regards,

Daniel
