Automatic turn on/off TV with Google TV streamer

My TV monitor does not automatically turn on when I activate the Google TV streamer using the remote control, despite HDMI-CEC being enabled.

I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this situation.  To assist you better, please answer the following questions: 

 

  • When did the inconvenience start?
  • Is it the first installation? 
  • What's your TV brand?

 

 In the meantime, please follow the next steps:

 

  • Please make sure you're using an HDMI 2.1 cable. 
  • Make sure the HDMI 2.1 cable is directly connected to the TV.
