BT BOX PRO REMOTE turning on my Chromecast tv 4K!!!

I have just recently upgraded to a BT TV BOX PRO. All is working fine, except very annoyingly, when I turn this box on using the BT remote, It sometimes switches on my chromecast too!!! This in turn changes the input on my TV, so I have to switch off chromecast, and then reset TV input to allow watching the BT box!

Unfortunately, this is a problem with remotes.  There is no firm standard on codes so you sometime get overlap.

I have a TV remote that also turns on/off a fan whenever I mute and un-mute the TV.

There isn't anything you can do to make the Chromecast ignore your BT's remote.
