Can't control spotify with Google home voice commands, it responds saying "OK playing spotify on main speakers" but nothing plays. Pause/next/etc also don't work. Casting from spotify app on my phone does work

Same issue, been happening for a few weeks now, but was unclear if it was the chromecast audio issues with certificate expiring.

The Google Home update has resolved the issue of being unable to connect due to an expired certificate, but the issue of being unable to control Chromecast Audio from Nesthub remains. These are two separate issues.
The background is that an issue occurred around the beginning of March where Chromecast Audio could not be controlled from Nesthub.
When a factory reset was performed as a solution to this issue, a further issue of being unable to connect due to an expired certificate occurred.
The original major issue has not been resolved in the 3.30.1.6 update.

Yes they are all updated. I can play from my phone app by manually selecting my CCA, I can use the voice assistant on my phone to begin playing music on the phone itself, but neither the phone or Google home voice assistant can begin a connection to a CCA with spotify. The Google home voice assistant can pause and skip once casting has begun, it's the inititiation that is the problem

こちらは何も設定変更してないのに、何の前触れもなく操作できなくなり、ネットの手順に従いFactry Resetを行ったことでさらに事態は悪化しました。かなりの時間をかけて、復旧に挑みました。chrome cast audio の接続は復旧しましたが、制御(音声コマンドで音楽の再生、停止など)がほとんどできなくなったので仕方なく、echo show とWiiM購入しました。大事な時間を長く、そして無駄といえる費用を使ってやっと元の生活に戻りました。何も申告しないまま、急にサービスを劣化させるのは、邪悪すぎます。音楽は生活の一部です。何日も音楽が聴けなくなるのは苦痛でした。役に立たないNesthubの電源は外しました。こんなハードウェアは2度と買いたくないと思いました。最初は幸せを与え、急に奪うのですから。良質なサービスを維持してこそ、ブランド価値があります。

Same issue: Specifically now - Apps etc. can’t connect to a functioning CCA. It is random and the only resolution is a physical reboot. Then the wait until it occurs again.
If the CCA is not reset after awhile it starts to generate duplicate Group names.
My details:
Qty 6 CCA’s all on Firmware 1.56.467166
Qty 2 Nest Minis on Firmware 3.75.456944
Google HOME : 3.30.106
Multiple times: Unplugged all CCA’s, Mini's, shutdown router and Wi-Fi, then restarted each 1 by 1 – All work okay for a few hours then.....
The problem: Failed to connect to Chromecast: tls: DialWithDialer timed out
Google Home: Can see the device – but can’t connect to it.
Duplicate Group Names different IP addresses same UUID
Bottom Line : Strong Wi-fi to the CCA, you can ping the CCA and CCA port 8009 with no problem – but the CCA firmware does not respond to any requests- it is locked up.
Need a fix for this please!
