Can’t install HBO Max

When trying to install the HBO Max app from the google play store it says “Your device isn’t compatible with this version”. Tried factory reset, but it didn't resolve the issue.
I have latest software installed and I'm not on VPN. It just won't install.

Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. May I know what country you are in? In the meantime, please reboot both your Wi-Fi router and Chromecast with Google (4K).

Also, if the issue is isolated when installing the HBO Max app, please reach out to the app developer for additional help.

I’m having the same issue. Is there anything I can do to get the app installed? 
chromecast with google tv is updated to the latest software. I’m in Hungary.

Installed my friend’s google tv yesterday in Hungary and I was able to install hbo max on his device. No issue at all.

I'm sorry for the late response. To confirm, is your friend's device a Chromecast with Google TV too? If yes, try to factory reset your Chromecast. If the issue persists, use a different Google Account and use it to set up your Chromecast with Google TV? Check if you'll be encountering the same issue.
