Can’t set up Chromecast (4K with Google TV)

I have a Google Chromecast 4 with Google TV (pink) that has been working fine for a year. Recently, it's been continuously connecting and disconnecting from Wi-Fi. The router is close by, I have resetted it already, and the Wi-Fi on other devices including the Philips TV work perfectly. Finally I tried to do a hard reset on the Chromecast Stick, and now I can't set it up anymore.

1. Using the Google Home app, it connects to Wi-Fi, but fails at "Signing in to Chromecast" with the message "Anmeldung nicht möglich" / “Sign up not possible” on TV, and on the app it keeps loading with “Signing in to Chromecast with your Google Account”. (I don’t have any account issues, it’s the same account I have used for a year. )2. Using the remote control, it connects to Wi-Fi, but then repeatedly asks to select the network again.

Hello I was already in a 2 hours conversation with an employee who escalated the case and she came back with almost the same solutions I already been through. Absolutely nothing is helping.

by now I could set the Chromecast up but the wifi is again connecting and disconnecting every couple second
