Casting YouTube

Usually, when I cast YouTube it will show recommend videos and other options. Suddenly, when i use it today YouTube logo will just appear and "Ready to Cast" message. Any idea why this happens? Is this the new norm?

I have two chromecast devices, and one of them still shows youtube just as before, but the other one is like you described. Hoping this is not the new norm, it's VERY inconvenient.... Would also love advice if it's fixable!
