So have followed latest instructions regards the current issues. Yes I was one who did a reset. Anyway got the devices re added to home app checked firmware and was an older version so rebooted as per instructions to start the firmware update waited foe about an hour then clicked on to see if it had done the update and was now on the latest but won't show device information so deleted off the app re add and am back at the beginning when it won't even find the device. Any ideas. Cheers

I have the same issue - cannot add this Chromecast audio (2nd gen) or an older Nexus TV to the Google Home app following all posted instructions... Please Google/Nest/legacy team update these online help screens for the new firmware, etc.

If you previously performed a factory reset, please make sure you’re on version 3.30.1.6 for Android and 3.30.106 for iOS to set up your Chromecast (2nd gen) and Chromecast Audio. Check out this help center article if you need help updating the Google Home app.
