Free has developed an alternative audio driver allowing passthrough of all DTS and Dolby formats for Android TV 10. This one works very well. Why doesn't Google offer an equivalent driver?

Free is an internet and television service provider in France. He developed a player that you can see here: https://www.androidtv-guide.com/pay-tv-provider/freebox-pop/. The update to Android TV 10 from February 2023 included an alternative audio driver to be activated in the settings which allows passthrough of PCM 2CH DTS, DTS-HDMA, DTS-HDMR, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos in TrueHD, Dolby Digital+, Dolby Atmos in Digital+, DTS:X. My Freebox is connected to a Pioneer LX304 AV amplifier. The passthrough works perfectly whether with PLEX, Netflix, Prime Video or Kodi. The only bug is the loss of sound volume control by the box, the control having to be done directly by the AV receiver. I hope that these drivers can be integrated into a Google TV update in order to find them on my Chromecast TV4k or on any other box with Google TV.
