Good evening, 2 weeks ago I bought my chromecast, as the signal from my router was bad, I started to connect it to the access point of my laptop.
everything perfect, until today, was working quietly, then the power went out ... when everything was normalized I turned it on, the chromecast was in 1080, to put it in 4k disconnected from the network and would not let me connect again, only allowed me in 1080
I was testing a little bit and I saw that when I put the access point in 5g it let me connect in 4k, what is happening? before it worked normally, now the normal is in 1080 and after that I have to move things to make it work. ?

Hi @xRorkr,
It sounds like you've encountered a bit of a challenge with your Chromecast's resolution after a power outage. Here are some steps you can try to get it working normally in 4K again:
1. Restart Chromecast and Laptop:
2. Check Chromecast Settings:
3. Verify Network Connection:
4. Update Chromecast Firmware:
5. Factory Reset Chromecast (Last Resort):
If for some reason you still have the same issue after those troubleshooting steps don't hesitate to let me know.
Regards,
Mario.
