The Chromecast with Google TV is no longer powered by USB-C hub Chromecast since android 14 automatically installed almost a year ago. Just show the not enough power screen while the HUB can passthrough enough power to charge any laptop. Since the upgrade the wifi is crap it wasn't good before so that's why I used ethernet at the first place. This was my last Google device as I stopped by them as Google not supporting their products (the Lenovo Smart Displays was a hard lesson to through them away all) and just screw over the customers. If you don't want to fix it fine then give an option to revert back android 12 as no way I buy your "Streamer"

Hi @Peter-qwerty,
Thanks for reaching out to the Google Nest Community. I understand you're concerned that your Chromecast with Google TV is no longer being powered through the USB-C Hub after the Android 14 update. I'd like to share more details with you.
We strongly recommend using only the power cable that came with your Google streaming device. Using a different cable may not be supported and could cause issues, including the device getting stuck in a continuous reboot loop.
Please consider sharing your thoughts directly with our development team through this feedback form. Your input will help us prioritize features and ensure that we're meeting the needs of our diverse user base.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to post.
Regards,
Gabriela

Thank you for the answer from the kindergarten. USB-C PD has negotiation so the power source and the powered device decide how much volt and amper needed. Messing with the Power Delivery to screw over the users just to buy the new Streamer is not nice.
