Chromecast Google TV with button mapper problem...no enter anymore on remote control

Hello.

I have a problem with the Chromecast Google TV.

I used button mapper for a long time now and I wanted to open another app on the netflix button on the remote control.

But now by accident ( stupid me ) I pointed the enter ( Home ) button to that app.

Result is that I cannot enter anymore to go to settings etc.

Chromecast is working but when I go to an app on the homescreen I can select it but cannot open ofcourse

because no enter.

 Only way is to reset to factory settings but how ? I cannot access the menu.

Tried to push the button on the chromecast to reset....hold...yellow blinking....white....released button.

See on tv that there is something going on and later it's starts to the home screen.

Same as before, not a hard reset.

Remote control is working, also on the Google TV app on tablet and smartphone except the home button.

Tried also de Google home app but when I open it there is no possibility on the 3 dots to go to reset factory settings only 3 dots...help....feedback.

Hope to get help from someone to do a factory reset.

Thanks for the reply.

As I said pressing the button on the Chromecast till the led goes white did not do a factory reset, only a soft reset.

I pressed and hold the button for about 30 sec, than I saw on the screen it did a factory reset.

But first screen after that was to pair the RC by pressing the two buttons on the RC, did not work so I

did a factory reset of the RC....than all works again.
