Chromecast Google assistant not working with remote

Hello.

I'm having trouble with my google assistant on my chrome cast not working on the remote control.

it seems to work from my google home app just fine, as well as the microphone button on some first party or third party apps.

But the actual google assistant button on the remote doesn't respond at all, been looking everywhere online and can't find a solution.

Thanks for your reply. It is indeed a bug that affects Google Assistant functions on Chromecast with Google TV 4K and/or HD. The patch fix has been sent, but since the ticket is still open, it means it hasn’t reached its completion yet. So you’ll notice that some of the posts here in this community claim that they got theirs fixed, while others like you are still experiencing it. Kindly stay tuned, as we will update here once this has been completed.

How long will it take for it to he fixed for me ? And maybe others.

Will this all be on a system update?
