I am now on my second remote within 1.5 years of buying this Chromecast. The first remote came with the purchase. The second one I purchased off the Google site to ensure it wasn’t a knock off. After the first remote wouldn’t stay connected to the CC, I bought another remote close to a year ago. Already the main button used to select/play/pause or do really anything has suddenly stopped working most of the time. All other buttons work fine. Has anyone else had major issues with the remote? I now have to use my phone to control the TV which is the whole reason I bought the more expensive Chromecast- to not have to use my phone.

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I am sorry to hear that the button used to select/play/pause stopped working, but no need to worry; help is here. I need to know a few things about your Chromecast in order to provide you with a better resolution.
