Chromecast Remote with Kogan TV

Hi,

I'm trying to connect the chromecast remote with my Kogan TV. Unfortunately the power button works as volume down and the volume up button works as picture mode. Is there a way I van correct this? I tried other models that use the same IR code as Kogan, these have the same issue.

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. There are hundreds and thousands of TVs, projectors, and monitor models from different manufacturers around the world. Even if not listed, some of these follow a particular standard. What you can try is trial and error to determine which brand or model may work. You can also search online for forums about users of these TVs, projectors, and monitors who found workarounds for getting them to work. But the possibility of incompatibility can’t be denied. Even most universal remote controls fail to control every brand and model, and the Chromecast Voice remote is not a universal remote control. Let us know if you still have questions.
