Chromecast TV 4k - no list of brands when trying to setup remote volume

Hi

Ive just setup the Chromecast tv and when going to remote settings to add my soundbar to control volume it doesn't list anything at all, ive tried multiple times but it just doesn't do anything when I request to add a soundbar.

Any help appreciated.

To add a soundbar use the following link for a guide:  Setup a soundbar with chromecast (link will open to a new tab). Also please do ensure the software is up to date. Also, with the soundbar not displaying any brands does your soundbar have any form of Bluetooth connection?

Hi I've tired the info in the link. I can connect via Bluetooth but it's not my preferred method as the sound seems to be much lower abd less full compared to connecting via optical so I just want the remote to control my volume controls like my old firestick has in the past

Have you tried contacting Google support to see if there is any more fixes?

I apologize for the inconvenience that you're getting on the other hand I would like to thank @code_  for helping @Pantomimehorse  

As @code_ said you can use the link to fix the problem that you're having and on the other hand it is important to see if the sound bar is compatible with Google.
