Chromecast audio

I seem to have lost the ability to cast Pandora from my Pixel 4a to my Google home and other Chromecast audio's.  It connects and I hear the chime, but the Pandora control screen stays grayed out and almost always nothing plays. 

Just began happening this week. 

Internet and home network connection is strong.

I have rebooted everything multiple times. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Pandora.

What is going on?  This is how I have been listening to music for years.

Very similar issue with Samsung s10. Pandora splash screen appears but controls are grayed out and no sound.

Very frustrating. Things that have worked for so long seem to be ruined by software updates.

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that Pandora issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I know I'd be annoyed if I couldn't cast my music anymore. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

• Is your Google Home and Pandora app up-to-date?
• Are you experiencing this issue with any other app?
• Are you able to cast Pandora from another device, such as a computer or tablet?
• Have you already contacted Pandora support about this?
• What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
