I have a Philips 4k model 50pfl5766/F7 built in Chromecast and I am unable to cast anything, when I go to pull down menue and click cast I see my tv and click it and it says connecting and puts the icon in the top of my notifications bar but my tv doesn't do anything.. I've uninstalled updates reinstalled, factory reset both devices and signed back in... YouTube app tells me that my tv" is an untrusted device" and I've done everything I can from changing options in my phone to accept untrusted sources and went into my tv settings and looked for anything to change my outcome and nothing is working so I am asking for your help to please tell me if there is anything I can do? I broke my phone and had to get this new one and I can't tell if it's the phone or the tv... Both are android powered by Google... My tv is less than a year old.. and acts like a big tablet.. kinda cheap but it's worked up untill today

Hey there Perloscippy,
I apologize for the late response on this thread, thank you for your patience! Were you able to fix that casting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you figure it out, since it sounds like this has been quite the headache for you. The first thing I would recommend is to try casting from another device, such as a computer or tablet. That way, we can narrow down the problem to either the TV or your phone.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
