Chromecast connected through Nest I don't even own

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me. I have a Google Pixel 6a with the Google Home app. I also have a Chromecast and a Samsung smart TV. All of these devices have worked perfectly until about 4 months ago when I had new neighbors move into my apartment complex. Everything digital in my life has been compromised. My current issues are my Chromecast won't connect anymore my phones have been hacked. I have managed to get my Pixel working however when I try to connect my Chromecast my device tells me it is connected through Google Nest or a Google Mini device which I DON'T own! Any advice on how to fix or help this problem before I spend 200.00 with Geek squad would be sincerely appreciated!😀

Thank you!

Hi @mysticalm00n

First, check your account by strange activity, click HERE on how to do this.

To get control over the Google TV again, you should try a factory reset.

Please try factory resetting your Chromecast Google TV.

Be sure your remote is working, as it is mandatory to set up your device after a factory reset.
