I use Chromecast with Google TV 4K to Cast audio and video with an app called SonosTube, which is basically YouTube Music but it allows me to connect to my Sonos speakers. On some videos, Chromecast randomly disconnects from SonosTube.
I wonder if it has something to do with Chromecast settings, which by the way, I have it set up at 4K - 60 MH. Somewhat related, some of videos that I cast that are supposed to be 4K (my TV is also 4K) don't appear 4K resolution. In your site, it says that Chromecast doesn't support 4K for playback. Does that mean that no support 4K when casting into a 4K TV from an app like SonosTube?

Hi tiger2020,
Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. Based on your description, the SonosTube App plays YouTube Music to your Sonos speakers (which could be via cloud services) as you cast the video to the TV. Since the app has quite a task, everything seems to break when something goes wrong. Since you’re using a Chromecast with Google TV, I suggest you pair your speakers with your Chromecast device so you can cast or play installed apps (YouTube Music, Spotify, etc.) while the sound comes out of the speakers.
You can test other apps to see if they're showing the same behavior. If not, then it’s most likely that the SonosTube app seems to be broken. You can try to perform a sequential reboot on involved devices (TV, Chromecast, speakers, etc.) and reinstall the SonosTube app to see if it helps. Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,
Kimy
