My Chromecast gen 4 with google TV suddenly disconnected from the wifi, when I check the device unable to show all of my SSID wifi. I tried to turn off and turn on the wifi but all the ssid still not showing.
It back to normal after I restart the Chromecast, it happened several times.
FYI, I have 350 pcs of Chromecast gen 4 and 200 pcs of Chromecast gen 3, the issue happend for almost half of my Chromecast gen 4 while the Chromecast gen 3 have no issue at all with the wifi (I work on hospitality field that use chromecast for each TV unit).
Is there someone have same issue? Is it resolved already, please let me know how to solved the issue.
I have tried to reset, update until the latest firmware but have no result.

Hi @jenniffert
Thank you for your reply, let me answer your question.
There is no error messages, there is only notification
"Wifi connection lost"
At wifi setting it's says
"No network connected."
There is no setting changes, as I mentioned there is no issue with my chromecast gen 3. This happened only for chromecast gen 4.
Both are connected with same network.
I have 350 pcs of chromecast gen 4 and all experience this issue.
I have installed all the device on January 2024, everything normal until last month, the device have this issue since July 2024.
All of my chromecast gen 4 setup with remote directly.
The issue is the chromecast unable to show all of my ssid, not one of my ssid listed on the available network setting, even hotspot I set from my phone.
After I restart the chromecast which have that issue, all the ssid showing again and it's automatically connected to the ssid that I assigned before.
It's similar with the laptop or PC when you have an issue with the wifi driver, the difference is I can easily re-install the wifi driver on laptop but not with this chromecast.
Currently I'm at the latest version, STTL.240508.005.
As for the network, I also use some of fire tv stick, apple tv and some random android tv box. All of this device have no issue with the network.
Another example, I have unit with 3 bedroom, each of them have TV installed include with chromecast gen 4 on each TV.
All connected in same router in that unit, 2 of them have this issue while one is normal.
If I recall that from January - June everything is normal, is there any way to install firmware that release on that range of time?
I will try to revert back to previous firmware, perhaps all the new firmware that release after June have this issue.
Thank you.
