I have purchased both a Normal Chromecast and a 4k Chrome cast I as i thought my screen size was to big due to using a normal Chrome Cast on a 65 inch tv.
I have fully tested both and still getting the same issues, when using apps to watch streams through Twitch, youtube, soundTV etc The resolution of the stream is exceeding that of the chrome cast.
I have looked into reducing the overscanning manually through my TV however it doesnt work.
If i use the pre built in app on the Toshiba there is no overscalling at all everything fits nicely, however it doesnt allow me to access the play store to download additional apps which is why I purchased a Google Chomecast to be able to access other apps.
Any suggestions as its specifically linked to Chromecast as not using it doesnt have any issues.
Thanks.

Unfortunately, there is no setting on the Chromecast for this.
Your TV is doing this on that particular port. I had one TV that did the same. I checked the TV's settings and found one for Video Mode. By playing with that setting on the TV I was able to find a mode that did not have as much overscan.
If you can't find anything, contact your TV's Support to see if they have other options.
