So I have done a search online and it seems there are quite a few people out there with the Chromecast with Google TV that are having the same issue as I am. I went to go use my Chromecast and noticed my remote was dead. I installed new batteries and could not get it to work and no led lights on the remote would light up. After a few minutes I noticed the remote was getting hot. I removed the batteries as a precaution and it cooled down. When I search online I see several threads on here with people complaining about the same hot remote control. Has there ever been a fix? I was going to order a new remote but I think this should be a warranty issue if I’m not the only one going through with this. My unit is less than a year old as I bought this during Christmas of 2021.
How do i submit a warranty issue? I tried online and it keeps giving me the run around with different troubleshooting but no actual way to submit a warranty issue.
