Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I am sorry that you are having issues with your Chromecast Ultra after the update. I’d be happy to help you. Let’s check it out.

Google typically releases updates with new features and improvements, and downgrading can lead to unexpected behavior or compatibility issues. Therefore, downgrading your Chromecast Ultra to an earlier version may not be optional.

Let’s check some basic troubleshooting:

Check TV Settings:

  • HDMI-CEC: Ensure HDMI-CEC is enabled on your TV and configured correctly. This feature allows devices to control each other.
  • Power Management: Check if your TV has any power management settings that might be causing the issue.

Chromecast updates:

  • Update Firmware: I understand that you made sure your Chromecast has the latest firmware update. Updates can improve performance and stability. Don't forget to check for updates in the Google Home app (navigate to your Chromecast device and look for Settings > System > Software update).

Restart Devices:

  • Restart TV: Turn off your TV completely (not just standby mode) and unplug it from the power outlet for about 30 seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again.
  • Restart Chromecast: Unplug the power cable from the Chromecast device, leave it unplugged for one minute, plug the power cable back in.

Additional checks:

  • Isolate the Issue: Try connecting the Chromecast to a different TV or input to see if the problem persists.
  • Check for External Interference: Ensure there are no external factors interfering with the Chromecast's connection or power supply.

The Pulsing white LED light means that the Chromecast is disconnected and needs to be set up.

You can also check the following article to know about the Chromecast LED lights and what they mean.

Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best regards,

Mario

Chaconmorales thank you for your advice. I changed my TV configuration. I've turned off standby mode and anynet+ (hdmi-cec) and issue  disappeared.
