Chromecast w Google TV OS 12 - Apps on external storage not showing + Webview app + loud responses

Problem 1 ...

For months now since being on Android OS 12, all the apps that are moved to external storage on my Chromecast with Google TV, they won't display under the list of apps on the main screen. I have a USB C hub to expand the storage with a usb drive plugged in, so some apps I have on there, while the main ones are on the internal storage. I have Developer Mode on and "force allow apps on external" enabled, but whenever I restart the chromecast it never lists the apps on the external storage, even though its still classified as "device storage" instead of "removable storage".  The only thing that fixes this is if I move an app from the usb drive to internal storage which is called 'internal shared storage', then all the apps appear (both internal and on the usb drive), but as soon as my device is restarted it won't show these extra apps, so I have to restart the process, or otherwise I have to go to settings > apps > see all apps > show system apps (after scrolling all the way to the bottom) > find app called 'Google TV' (launcher app) after scrolling down heaps and force stopping the 'Google TV' app > then pressing home and the home screen will refresh with all apps displayed. But this takes ages and is a pain for my friends and family who aren't as tech-savvy as me.

Problem 2 ...

I also have to keep disabling Developer Mode everytime there's an update for the app "Android System Webview" otherwise it won't update. This is really annoying.

Problem 3 ....

When I hold down the voice search button on the remote, it frustrates me how Google's response saying "OK" or "Opening Google Play Store" is so loud (much louder than the volume in a movie I'm watching or something) ... I wish there was a shortcut to the Google Play Store on the home screen or under "your apps" ... Whenever Google replies to a voice command it's way too loud, I don't know how this can be changed.

Does anyone have a fix for any of these issues?

Yeah #1 and #2 have been issues for a while.  I'm pretty sure #1 is because the home screen loads before the external drive is recognized, so it doesn't see those apps.  I always have to kill the home screen app also, but of course it never remembers the custom order for the apps, and I have to move them all around each time this happens.  The webview problem is less annoying but also a pain.

Plenty of us are hoping they will find a way to fix this (especially #1).  Even just remembering the apps are installed and graying them out until the external storage attaches would be helpful.  But I don't have much hope this will ever get fixed.  I will hope more for a newer Google TV device with more power and more storage so I don't even need the external drive.
