When I try to use the Disney+ HBOMAX and sometimes other apps like Paramount+ from the Google Chromecast 4K TV device, it starts to load but never gets past the spinning wheel, see image. I have left it for 30 minutes and still just get the spinning wheel. I have tried the following:
I ordered this device on August 6, 2022
No casting from an Android phone to Chromecast 4K TV device. The apps are installed on the Chromecast 4K device.
Clearing the app's cache
Reinstalling the app
Rebooting the Chromecast
Rebooting the Spectrum router and waiting a min and 5 mins before turning it back on.
Rebooted the Google Wifi mesh network. I even unplugged them from the electrical wall.
As of April 18th, I factory reset the device and had to sign back into all my apps.
Also, When this happens. I switch back to my Amazon Firestick 4K device to watch the show or movie and it does not buffer or spin at all using the same apps.
I can connect to Disney+ on my Android Pixel 6 phone and Windows computer without issues.
I have Spectrum Internet with 220 Mbps connected to three Google WiFi mesh networks, all of which have great internet connections.
The Chromecast 4K device is connected to my 75-inch Samsung smart TV. The third Google WiFi pug is right next to the Chromecast device.
Disney+ app version: 2.13.0 RC3.
Samsung 75-inch smart TV; Chromecast 4K TV device connected to HDMI 3. One time I had it connected to HDMI 1, and there was no difference.
