I purchased a new Chromecast with Google TV (4K) on the weekend and set it up with my LG TV. I signed in, downloaded the apps and signed into the accounts. But it keeps cutting out to a black screen – it does so for 1-2 seconds every 10-15 seconds. And sometimes the whole screen flashes black and white for about 10 seconds.
Is this a common issue? Do I have a faulty unit?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. We’re sorry for the delay in response. This could be related to the HDMI communication between the Chromecast device and the TV. Kindly check the physical connection or try switching to a different HDMI port. If it persists, try to isolate it by testing it on another TV.
