This is an intermittent issue that affects multiple profiles. I have set time limits on the Google TV using Google's instructions for setting them, but the device regularly allows kids to watch past their limit. The kids' screen time in the Family Time app shows that one of my children has watched 1 hour and 38 minutes today, despite her limit being 1 hour.
This occurs even when the child who is too young to operate the remote is watching, so it can't be a simple case of the kids learning the PIN and overriding it.
I've checked and double-checked the settings. I've made sure the firmware is updated. I even removed all of the kid profiles and re-added them. Nothing makes this work.
Doing research online, it appears that this has been a problem for at least a year, yet I haven't seen a single mention of Google doing anything to address this pretty major flaw in an advertised feature.
Can we have an update on this bug?
