Hello there,
I am trying to cast my Laptop Screen to 3 TV's. After exploring some options we purchased 3 Chromecast with Google TV the 4K version. My windows operation system is 10 Pro. Can someone please send me a link or step by step instructions on how to set up these devices as I tried for more then 3 hours and was not successful. I looked up the process online and followed the steps. When I got to home screen after setting up and logging in the first device, I was not able to see that chrome device on my pc to cast and yes my Bluetooth was ON. I thought it was just plug and play device.
And also why am I not able to download Google Home app on my PC which will help me cast I guess. Can someone please guide me will be really helpful.

To setup the Chromecast, you need to use the Google Home app on a phone or tablet, it cannot be setup using a computer (nor is there a Google Home app for computers).
Set up Chromecast with Google TV and Voice Remote - Chromecast Help
Once setup, as long as your Chromecast is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer, you should be able to follow these steps to cast a tab from Chrome:

David,
Thanks for the prompt reply really appreciate that help.
Now as you mentioned I will need a smart device like a cell phone or a tablet to do the initial setup for all three devices, say if I am using my own cell phone to do the setup that will not interfere when someone else is casting through a different PC when I am not around right.
From my understating once I set up all three devices, then I should be able to see these three Chromecast devices on my PC, then select all which I need and display on multiple at same time without using my cell phone or tablet.
I hope I am able to explain you properly. I apologize if I am confusing you.

Once setup, anyone on the same Wi-Fi network can cast to and control them.
As for casting a Chrome tab, you can only cast to one Chromecast at a time, not multiple.

Good morning David,
Sending you a link can you check it out and let me know if that is a possibility.
This is what I am trying to do. I want to duplicate my screen on multiple displays using the Chromecast with Google TV.
If that is not possible do you have any other suggestion please let me know.

What you're trying to do simply isn't possible with Chromecast itself. That article is entirely inaccurate. The only way to achieve this would be to use things like HDMI splitters.

Sorry to Inform you David but I was able to do what that article said. I am able to cast on multiple devices from one source. I don't know how you came to conclusion that it is just not possible.

Interesting. It's been that way for a long time, so I wonder when that changed.
