Hey there Rob72,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to get that Chromecast connected to that new router? If not, I'd be happy to help out. The Chromecast is only able to remember one network at a time, there are two ways to set it up on a new network. You can either forget the network from Google Home, or perform a factory reset.
