@liran I just read a post that was closed for replies with you asking how to connect a Chromecast to a MAG TV. I have one of those dinosaurs as well sitting in my basement, and wanted to hook it up since it still works. After reading your thread I had an idea. So I pulled up one of the "One-for-all" manuals to see their codes. All they do is remotes so yes they have a code for Mag. Then I searched the Mag code in their manual to see if any other manufacturers use it. YUP! Use the brand "Polaroid" on the Chromecast, and cycle through the codes. It was either the third or fourth and then it hit. Works with volume, power, and inputs. Enjoy!

Thank you so much for the reply!!
I waited all day to get back home and try it out.
Unfortunately - it didn't work for me... ☹️
I appreciate it anyway.
Thank you!

Well your model may be different. However you could try the following additional brands. All of them share the one MAG code for the URC-7960 One-for-all remote. They may or may not be listed in the Chromecast setup. Logik, OTIC, Proview, Spectroniq, Teco, Tevion, Trio, Akura, Bush, Chun Yun, Conia, Goodmans, Fujimaro, Fujimaru, and KDS.
Incidentally the one I have is a MAG 3200 made 10/2006.

Wow, you really care. That's so amazing to see.
Thank you so much!
Following your previous reply I've found the same document and reached to the same models you described. I tried them all, but to no avail. Nothing works out of these models.
I appreciate your reply so much!

Hi folks,
Appreciate your help here, @Blah-Blah.
@liran, thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us. There are hundreds and thousands of TV models from different manufacturers around the world. Even if not listed, some of these follow a particular standard. What you can try is trial and error to determine which brand or model may work. We are not declining the possibility of incompatibility, but you can also search online for forums about users of these TVs who found workarounds for getting them to work. Even if it’s not compatible, it would just be related to the controls of the remote over the TV (power, volume, and input buttons). Rest assured that your Chromecast device will work as intended. You can probably use your TV’s remote for those controls.
Let us know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Kimy
