I am considering buying Chromecast with Google TV 4K but I am not sure if the device will be compatible with the following TV set: 2011 PANASONIC VIERA TX-P42U30E.
The HDMI version of the TV of one of the ports is 1.4 and I am aware I won't be able to stream 4K content (according to the support page of the Chromecast device) but I am not sure if it will run at all for HD content.
Thank you!

Hi @raikko2003
The Chromecast Google TV works a almost all the devices which has a HDMI port.
But your can find the requirements HERE.
Check your manual if is HDCP compatible, but by a quick search on the model name and manual it shows it is compatible so you are good. 😊

Thank you!
As far as I can see, it has HDMI port 2 should be HDCP 1.4 compliant, so hopefully it won't be an issue.
Thank you once again 🙂
