Google Home Won’t Recognize Chromecase

I recently changed home WiFi and have been resetting my three chrome casts. 2 went smoothly and one will not show up in Google Home App.

TV and phone are on same Wifi

Ive factory reset device

i have no idea who two of the chromecasts are fine and one won’t connect

  • Are you using an Android or an iPhone mobile to set up your Chromecast devices?
  • Could you please confirm the model of the failing Chromecast?
  • What is the status of the LED light that you can see on the failing Chromecast?
  • How far is the failing Chromecast from the WiFi router?
  • Is the failing Chromecast connected to the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi network?
  • Have you tried to reboot your Chromecast device?
  • Did you see an error message on your TV screen after performing the factory reset?
  • How far is the Chromecast from the WiFi router?
  • Have you tried plugging the Google Chromecast into a different HDMI port on the TV?
  • Could you please describe the way you are performing the factory reset to the failing Chromecast?
