One of the reasons I swapped from the Onn 4k Pro to the Streamer is to be able to use the Google Home app on my device and not have to pick up my phone or interrupt what I'm watching. I've updated to the most recent software version and it's just not there.
The app itself isn't there, you press and hold the home button, and the Google home lives in the top right , from there you can control thermostats, cameras, lighting, etc.
