i want to purchase google tv streamer from us and take it in india then google tv streamer work in india or not?

currently in india chromecaste with google tv 4k working fine in india.

The Google  Streamer isn't officially supported in India and no guarantee that it will work properly. Learn about devices & services available in your region - Google Store Help 

Hopefully a user in India w/ a US purchased device can help and add to this discussion.
