Then i have a Soundbar with toslink and everytime when i Switch on the Dolby Sound i have a "scratching" Sound Problem at my Soundbar. If if i watch Something on a integrated smart TV App everything works fine. Who can Help me?

Hi christo89,

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to hear about the situation that you are experiencing with the scratching sound that you hear when you turn on the Dolby sound on your soundbar. But don't worry; help is here. In this case, I just need to ask for some information to provide the best assistance:

  • What steps did you try to solve the situation?
  • Is your soundbar connected to the TV with an HDMI cable?
  • Did you try to disconnect the the soundbar to make the proof with the sound on the Google Streamer device?

Please keep me posted. I'll be waiting for your response.

Best regards,
Jenny

Hello,

first of all thanks for Response. My Soundbar ist connected with a toslink cable (dont have HDMI).Now i found Solution for the Problem. When i Change the Google TV Streamer Option to "Dolby Digital" the Sound works great. If i Switch in "Dolby Digital Plus and so on" the Sound ist Not good again. I think thats a Bug from the TV Streamer OS. Hope it will be fixed with next Updates.

Have a nice weekend and greetings
